Keep the grip secure and the edge protected

An overgrip changes feel and moisture control; replacement grip tape adds more cushioning. Edge protection should match the paddle profile closely enough to wrap without bunching, and added weight should be applied symmetrically in small steps.

Tape width is not the paddle’s core thickness. The tape has to cover the full finished edge and wrap slightly onto both faces, so measure the actual edge before ordering. The mappings below are the supplier’s starting points for the current tape listings, not a universal rule for every paddle.
