Care

A rough face wears faster than a smooth one — that is the trade-off for grip. Wipe it clean after outdoor play rather than letting grit sit in the texture, and expect the spin to soften gradually over a season of heavy use. Keep it out of a hot car.

Good to know

If you don't yet hit with deliberate topspin, the smooth-faced Gen-4 Carbon Paddle will last longer and cost you nothing in performance. This one earns its keep once you are shaping shots.
